Ive got an 07 lbz that needs the cp3 changed is there anyway to do that without pulling the turbo?

The only reason to pull the turbo on one of these trucks.....is to change the turbo.

Ive honestly never changed a cp3 on one of these, just done a couple sets of head gaskets, but the turbo is definitely not in the way.

Wrong. You need to take the pedestal bolts out and pry the turbo back some.

I appologize, looks like plenty of room with the Y-bridge out and the guys i know thet have changed Cp3s say just the Y-bridge has to come out.

I just tried it it. It will come out once you get the y bridge out.

Looks like I was wrong! The last two guys a talked to that had done one had to pry the turbo back to get the the one bolt. Ill have to ask which bolt that was because obviously you did it.
