2006 to 2003 Cummins engine swap.

I recently dropped some valves in my 2003 5.9 dodge cummins 3500 head is ruined and block needs sleeved. I've located a 2006 long block that was taken out of a rear end damaged 2006 3500. Is there any reason that this swap wouldn't work ?

It will work. Only difference is pistons and injectors. As long as you keep the 2006 injectors in the 2006 engine shouldn't be any issues
