Shocks 4wd and 2wd differences

I think I read this on here somewhere before but can't find it. So does anyone know the difference between rear shocks on a 4wd compared to a 2wd. I think I read the 2wd ones where shorter but just don't remember?

2wd are shorter. they work good when lowered about 5"

Well I hope your right because that's about how much I'm dropping the rear.

i removed the block and two leafs,so about 5 or 6" lower and used stock length 2wd shocks
