on the badgeless grille i simply had the paint guy weld in a metal piece. the grille came with a plastic piece that i have seen used before but he wasnt too fond of it. so he did it his way and i would say it turned out perfect.

better pics are uploading now too

Make me an offer

As is or wait till injectors are in it and a tune?

2000 w/ 186k
New injection pump and timing belt in December.
No check engine lights, ac is cold, no leaks.

I think everything else is listed in this thread though. Gets 50mpg now after you figure the 6% off the odometer is due to tires.

No sticker pics.

But the wheels are a discontinued wheel so even if I told ya they don't exist any more.

Today I ordered new Monroe OESpectum shocks, struts, timken wheel bearings, brake pads, bora parts suspension deluxe overhaul kit with Audi TT parts, to tighten the steering response, tie rods with the complete ends, and bushings for sway bar and swing arms. The rebuild kit consists of every mount and all the bushings.

Needless to say next weekend will be busy.

Is there anything else I should do while in there?

Thanks!!

Well last week the injection pump on the car finally decided to finish off the o-ring in it. The car would leak around a gallon of fuel every two minutes or so. I already had new injector lines ordered and injector nozzles sitting here so I decided to just do it all.

So I ordered this to fix the pump leaks

These new lines for the one bad one

Well, tonight I decided to finally start tearing into the car. Started off with pulling the lines off, capping the injectors and pump with plastic caps, cleaning around the base of the injectors then finally pulling them out. After pulling them out I cleaned them up completely put them in the non marring vise and started swapping out the old stock tips in favor for a slightly larger 502 tip.

Tomorrow will be time to replace the injection pump o-rings, install injection lines, change fuel filter, fire it back up hopefully and then calibrate the pump, injectors, and egr with my vagcom. Man do I love that thing.

This is an awesome thread. I'm looking to get a mid-2000 TDI in the next year. It'll do a lot better on my 60 mile a day round trip to work and back, than my CCLB 12 valve.
