08 F350 Enforcer/48RE conversion

I’ve had a thread going on PSA for awhile but now that some good progress has been made I figured I would post it up here to. The truck had a built 6.4 with 66/88 compounds, 100% injectors and a BTS 4R100, after consistent coolant pressurizing and surging issues I decided I was done with the 6.4 platform and bought a D&J Enforcer long block from Morgan at Midwest diesel. The conversion was being done at Morgan’s Shop but after his passing it was decided that it should be moved to another shop for the conversion to continue. After a few phone calls the truck was towed to Firepunk for them to complete the job. They started by cleaning the frame and underside of the cab up and painting it with POR 15. Then they started running the fuel lines, mounted the shifter, modified he trans crossmember to work with the 48RE and started to fab the triples.

The build is as follows
Enforcer long block
400% S&S injectors
12mm Exergy pumps
75/72/72 triples
Comp 3 FMVB

That’s where the truck is at as of today. Chris Nelson is doing the conversion harness after destroked lost one harness and f!@ked up another set.

Any idea how much the trans crossmember had to move? I should have been swapping mine by now but lots of wrenches keep getting thrown in.
Looks good. What's the plan for the truck when it's done? Have a link to your psa thread?

Great progress from Firepunk. 3rd gen radiator and intercooler almost finished up, trans cooler batteries and fuel system all mounted and a ver sexy piece of billet from D&J.

That's got to be one of the most obstructive injector line grooves I've ever seen.
They all have to be dimensionally constrained with the fuel line and manifold shelf, so one can't be more obstructive than another.

In this particular situation, I would think the mounting plane on the air plenum could be rotated out away from the cylinder head/fuel lines a few degrees.
That defeats the purpose in having the stock inlet location as opposed to a side inlet.

It was needed to get the inlet away from the master. Off the shelf horns wouldnt fit

Right they all have "grooves" for line 1, but that is a straight up dent with a vertical restriction/ redirection of flow. Sure the 3 turbos can help to overcome such a major obstruction. But that intake manifold is turbulent AF!

Makes sense, and sure your triples wouldnt even notice it.

You have any direct overhead shot a showing the entire engine bay with engine in place?

Get a harness? I saw one on Instagram I was suspicious might be for this application.

I am still waiting for my harness to be completed, it should be with firepunk this week. Destroked was given my 6.4 harness and a 06-07 cummins harness last year and basically lost them both, when asked about it they said that they had finished the harness and shipped it but couldn't supply proof or a tracking number. Jared at Midwest did right by me and sent another brand new ford harness and brand new cummins harness to try again and destroked started making excuses. After a few months of going back and forth I asked them to ship the harnesses back which turned into me catching them lying about shipping and tracking numbers. Bottom line is that they are a **** company and lie to customers.

Going forward Chris Nelson at energetic motorsports is now doing the harness for me.
