I have a 4" downpipe going into a 5" Aeroturbine with a turn down just in front of the rear axle. Exhaust note is a nice round rumble and it almost thumps a bit like a big block at idle. It doesn't sound like anybody else's truck and that's my favorite part. It's very quiet in the cab, definitely way more engine noise than exhaust until it hits about 35psi (vnt turbo), then you can tell there's an exhaust system under your feet. It's a bit louder towing but never had a complaint from the wife or kids - they still easily fall asleep on long drives.
