6.4 studs, gaskets and ?

A buddy has a 6.4. He races a little but running around 13.0's. Trucks a daily.

As expected he blew a head gasket and is making air in the coolant.
It's full delete because this country never had the emissions junk.

1. What else should be done while in there?
2. If he wants to bump up the power what else should be done while he's in there? Where is the first power bump line? I'm sure he'll never go over 750.

I'll be searching for manuals and write ups to see do's and don'ts to help him out.

I want to say he is running a 280hp tune from memory
quad cab short box.

studs,gaskets
60hp nozzles
you can do lots of stuff but it's not hard to get 750 out of a 6.4 you could mod the hpfp (k16) with nozzles add a s400 charger to the stock compounds that'd be plenty of power... the extra charger will also keep the egt's down alot depending what your funds look like lol

plan on valve job, new rocker arms, upgrade valve springs, and new pushrods and lifters, 6.4 have ton of valve train problems. I would also replace pistons with new maxxforce ones, stockers crack when running hot tones. replace thermostats water pump hoses ect when pump is off check cover for cavitation damage.
