MP-8 with smarty

What is the out come and benifit with combining the two. I see people do it and wandering if it is safe. Like most of us i want the most usable performance out of my cummins.*bdh*
 
I have seen it add 50hp on a fairly stock 04 Dodge with just a Smarty on back to back dyno runs. And 70+hp on heavy modded trucks. Not good to run with it on all the time since it's a pressure box. But nice to have when you need it.
 
i got one and when you need it it comes in real handy. i can put my pressure wherever i want it. i only run the mp8 during competition. i dont remember where i got mine through. think it was like 400. infinate adjustability is what sold me. goes real good with my smarty PoD and new TST PDA49
 
Smarty and MP-8

The Smarty will only boost fool to 45psi. I run the the MP-8 to get better rail pressure and to boost fool up to 65psi with no codes.
