Hello

Have mounted turbo on a Polaris Ranger diesel.
Engine is 24,8hp orginal.
I have controll over all the temprature on the engine.
And it respond wery well to boost.
15 psi an 1250f on the EGT on several km long hill.
This is used on the road.

My question is, how much RPM can i safely aloud this engine to turn.
Polaris hand book say 3800 +/- 50 rpm stock engine.
So max 3850rpm
Im now turning 4100rpm.
Want to give it more rpm, but wanted to hear with you guys first.

Best regards

Welcome, Magnussen from Norway!!!

Not sure you'll find your answers here on the Comp D forum for small Polaris diesels, but maybe someone will chime in. I have one idea though, I'll send him a link and see if he knows.

If someone’s using the engines in a performance platform like mini tractors, that’s who he needs to talk to. I guarantee no one’s hopping up a diesel Ranger at a dealer. They’re just not made for performance and are way too slow. You’d be lots of money ahead with a gas engine. An extreme example would be putting a 6.7L Cummins in an F1 car. Yeah, you could make it work, but…..
