Geesh. I’ve bought 2 trucks with transmission issues in the past 3 years for under 2k here in the northwest. Almost worth the shipping for you!

Here's where I'm at with mine. The bottom of the CHRA is about the even with the top of the manifold, and I'm fighting for room with the hood.

Location, used truck prices are rediculous in Ohio. I know quite a few people who saved thousands by making a day trip to go get a truck.

Gotta have a truck priced low enough a kid can convince daddy to buy it for him. $6500 wont sell. 5000 will all day long. No sane abult pays 10k for a truck with 300k miles on it thats 20 years old.

Sold my crusty VP truck with 250k on it for $7500. Paint was pretty where it was still there and had cool wheels. Sold it in two weeks. Had a PERFECT single cab 6 speed truck with old school wheels on it and struggled to get rid of it at $6000. If it looks cool it will sell. Put some hideous wheels on and some cheap headlights that blind the entire interstate and I promise it is worth $2-3k more.

Huh. You way overpaid.
I could probably have gotten it for under $1500.
Going to go pick up a '95, with a 5 speed, for $900.

Mark.

Yeah no such thing as a cheap truck around us. I personally don't want to spend the extra time trying to get rusty bolts busted loose so I guess im stuck with paying the high southern prices. I can't imagine buying a 12V for $900 Mark I would be excited to find deals like that.

A '95 5-speed 2X4 with 325,000 miles on it would go for around $4,500-6000 here. needing $2,500 to make it street able at that!

1997 3500 SRW, pretty rusty, RedLine built 47re (pretty much everything short of a larger output shaft, so stock sized billet there), on 37's (two could stand to be replaced). I'd let it go for $6500 pretty firm.

Very reliable. I'd probably replace the two tires before taking it on a major trek, but she's pretty stout otherwise!

I just picked up a 97 with 122k on it that looks about the same as that for $2500.
