Been reading here alot. Thought I'd post pics of my truck. I think new gears are next, fuel mileage all but left after lift and tires.

don't do gears. I had em on my truck. I had 46's and 5.38 gears no difference AT ALL. Stay 3.73 or 4.10 tops. I went back to 40's and 3.73 and lovin it. 10 mpg in town and 17 mpg hwy on swamps tuning
 
You definitely need gears. I lifted my truck 8" with 38" tires. It drove like crap until I got 4.56 gears put in it. That made a huge difference. Your transmission will thank you.

Your truck looks very nice, BTW.
 
I would definitely do gears, how could it NOT help? Its a proven mechanical advantage. It will help.

Truck looks sweet! What lift and how big? What size tires?
