Clutch master cylinder adjustable rod?

Just a thought or two...

The tab with the pin/crappy plastic bushing that attaches to the end of the master cylinder rod is pressed onto the stud/tube that comes from the clutch pedal. So when you pry that tab from the stud, you can press it back on in any position. What I'm thinking is you can rotate that tab to effectively increase or decrease the length of the clutch master cylinder rod.

Also, if you haven't already modded that rod, there are a few rod-end options that replace the end with a spherical bearing of some sort. And you could always thread the rod and one of those, making it adjustable. And I highly recommend modding it if you haven't.

I have tried removing the splined tab. It did not work. the nut comes off, and i tried on 2 different trucks, that thing it really really on there.
