Mechanically Injected LML

I'm looking to build a mechanically injected LML for a pulling truck. Any suggestions on timing gears or potential problems?

You will need to speak with user SuperSonic (Chris) Competition Diesel.Com - Bringing The BEST Together

Chris is the only one I know that has done it.

There are a few that have been done, although Chris's is sweet and prob the cleanest. Cyclone machine built one for Tim Jackson. And there is another limited pro 3.0 in Wisconsin.

Did that truck of Chris's get finished and running? Followed that incredible build then never heard anything.

No last I heard he sold it to someone in Wisconsin I believe. It Really was one of my favorite trucks back in the day.

I believe it made 2400ish on oem heads, 4.1 and 5" twins. And not realy running it all out. That was in 2015 I believe.

I followed the build Chris did with Super Max. I wish I could have seen that truck in person. I want to do a similar set up to his but with a single turbo. I am just trying to get my ducks in a row at this point so I can start the project.

I shot the Watson SuperMax truck for a feature article... I'm not sure when it will run, but I am confident we will run it in Diesel World or Ultimate Diesel Builder's Guide magazine for sure. It is an amazing truck, especially for something home built by a family of diesel enthusiasts!!!

Does Chris still own the truck or did he sell it?

Earlier this year when I shot it over the summer Chris Watson and his family (brother and father) still owned it. I have no reason to believe they sold it... But I do not know for sure...

They pulled it multiple times this year. Not the best of luck but it did make it down the track a time or two.

Any Video of the passes they made? I am quite curious as to the setup they are currently running.

They are still working a bug out here and there and learning the setup, talked with them at Bowling Green. But yes it has been making passes.
