caliper shaving or other wheel/tire advise

OK any help would be appreciated I've seen one set of cheater slicks on a third Gen and the only way I know of making that work is to shave the calipers to fit the 16" wheel do you think that would be a safe way to go or should I find some kind of drag radial to run with a different set of wheels?

You can run 2nd gen rear brakes on the AAM axle for the rear. Not sure about the front. I thought there was a couple threads on this.......

you can run 2nd gen calipers and rotors on the 3rd gen thats what we did

2nd and third Gen calipers are the same. You just need 2nd Gen caliper brackets and 2nd Gen rotors.

And that's for the front also?
