Well, ... ... yes. I don't blame them at all. For 46 years of my life I would have whipped a man for bringing that stuff anywhere near my family or property. Lol ...nearly happened once. Thank goodness the fella decided to walk off my property instead of having me escort him. lol He really looked like a bum standing down there on the other side of the road waiting for his buddy to unbolt the part he was needing off one of my junk Fords at the time.

Just weed? Or did you dabble in other drugs?

Weed is like a 6pack of beer..... the Feds should just legalize it already.

Just weed. It does some crazy stuff to me when not controlled. I know what the other stuff does to people and the loved ones around them. Most of the "other drugs" in some way or another have been fouled by mans hand.

About the only thing that will foul my drug of choice would be an old coon dog relieving himself.

I never ever want folks to think I am the kinda person who wants to hold a sign outside of Washington supporting weed. I will agree now that I am a user, the stuff has a bad rap for no reason. Some of the best people I have met have been using for years and didn't expose themselves to me until I went to the other side.

On October 9th of last year, my son's wedding day, I weighed 252lbs and was a miserable, lazy, piece of crap who could make a living running a machine for another man. Well, the whole making a living thing came to an abrupt halt and I was free to do as I wished.

I now weigh 190lbs and get more done before 7:00A.M. than I used to do all week.

Catchy chorus. Like it. When you get them bar chords mastered and your vocal range down...it will be a good one.

Honestly, not too shabby Arch. Your voice definitely implies feeling.

Now for my critical comments, only because you asked.
You could use some better recording equipment to level your sound. You also have to clean up the chord changes. Practicing with a metronome is the best way to get the count correct. There are quite a few free apps out there for good metronomes. Timing is everything.
The duct tape thumb pick is nifty, but it deadens the strings too much.
If you could get someone to play the guitar while you sing, or maybe prerecord the music, and then overdub your lyrics, the timing would sync more better.

I have no experience with this stuff. I was wondering what the timer was called. lol I would need one of the old mechanical ones, I no longer have any type of cell phone and it would feel like I was tinkering on a 12 valve.

I played the song for an old friend who is quite the bass player. He has a friend with a recording studio. Just so happens with all these Corona's running around, he is shut down. lol

My ultimate goal is to get my mom and sisters kicking in on the chorus. Then it would sound like something. I will try to get some recordings of us when we sang gospel music. The harmony is where it's at.

I wanted to add that the song for my wife should be sang with the piano as the lead.

If anyone who can play piano would like to get the song down and send me the music, I would love to hear the piano crying out the music.

Thanks SmokeShow. CompD is the only family I have left. Plus, I have things to learn. I know much smarter and skilled folks watch this site and are willing to help. lol

Hello folks. I've had a few messages I can't seem to figure out how to answer. lol

One fella from New Zeland asking about the BMW's. When I clicked on the private message prompt at the upper right, it sent me to a different style message screen I am not accustomed to.
