Building a 9700 and Need Help

Im in the process of putting together a Hot Farm tractor I was wondering if anyone has any sugesstions for the inside. I blew my head gasket and Im not gonna tear it down just to do a head gasket and fire ring Im wanting to punch it out but, what would yall suggest to do the stock 401 or Genesis or 7.8 truck motor. Piston sizes would be a plus too and if I should stroke it and how much??? I was thinking of somewhere around 540Ci. Limits for local classes are 3000 RPM and 3x3 turbo. If anyone can help I appreciate it in advance.

The engine I would choose to get to 540 would be the Genesis or 7.8 truck motor. The genesis motor will bolt in the tractor easier but you will have to have the crank stroked to get to 540(stroked to 5.2). The truck motor has a 5.2 stroke crank but I have been told to only use a 4 9/16 bore piston, I think that is like 525. The main drawback is the motor won’t bolt in using all the factory bolt holes.

Pm me I've got a # to a fella that has built several ford pullers. The genesis motor is a more efficient engine and flows real well.

Lets see some pics of the 9700!!
