Farmington Utah to Dallas Texas

Just throwing this out there - I've got a buddy with an older lifted Toyota 4runner I'm buying and have tossed around the idea of making a road trip out there. However; I was curious to know if any members ever make that route and if so what the cost would be to haul. I've never had a vehicle hauled/shipped so figured I would toss it out here for feedback.

I'd guess you're looking at $1000-$1500 to get it shipped if you don't make the drive.

Alternatively, it's about a $200/2hr flight and 12hr drive back with $200 in fuel. So $400 and a day's worth of time. Not too bad!

Looked on uship? and looks like a feasible bid would be $689ish. At least that was with their shipping estimator.

It's over 1,250 miles. It's gonna be more like 18 hours or better.

that's a helluva drive for someone who has a patience threshold of about 250 miles or 3 hours
