Large tires on the track

Does anyone out there besides me run a large tire at the track? Right now I'm running nitto terras LT355/60R20 D125R (36.5X14.5) and can't get the tires to hook. I tried messing with the tire pressures but still spun though most of the 1/8th (but think some of it was track prep) I'm game to drop down to a 35" tire but don't want too. I do need better shocks, but it's time for new tires and seeing what you guys run.
I'm going to get some drag radials one day, but the biggest thing I can find is 33ish and too small to DD on for how the truck is. And I want the truck to look innocent/ slow with big tires just because.
Yes, I know I should take the lift off. Yes I know the above post is retarded and I should lower the truck and run drag radials like everyone else, but this is my goal for the truck

Thanks guys

yes, I got off the line ok, but once the turbos lit I was spinning a lot. Was so bad I bounced off the rev limiter and way defueled on the 2-3 shift. I need to put a real locker in the back and shocks, but I'm just looking for the best tire I can get since these are about worn out.

the end goal of this truck is to make a sort of sleeper, this winter I plan on gutting a lot of the weight out, putting a roll bar in throwing in 120% sticks and see how far I can push this thing as an average Joe slow looking lifted CCLB. Just to be different.
And I know I will never hook that great with big tires, I'm just looking for the best that I can get with them. I'll put some small drag radials on when I go for the best pass

why? I know I'm over speeding the tires some-but do you think I'm going to see a failure taking a tire rated for 106 and over speeding it by 10-20 mph for 2 seconds? I don’t heat the tires or hot lap the truck. But Ill be the first to admit I'm not an expert on this

Center of gravity, weight, jumping guard rails and killing bystanders...
