It does need some traction bars under the rearend. Yes cut springs on the 01 truck with a cut off wheel on a grinder and took the leaves apart on the 95 and chop sawed them. Cheap simple setup, the truck airbag I used is about 3.5 inches collapsed and 11 inches full extend and around 11 inches wide. The one thing I do need to do is put some good shocks on, with no leaf friction it will bounce some.

Cool..... Now, how about just removing the leaves completely vs cut them? I have ladder bars already built for a Dana 80, so I'm golden there.

I'm lazy and tight, leaving the main leaf centers the rearend and the leafpack up front keeps some axle wrap out. I was going to do bars and pan hard bar with two air bags but this works good enough for what I want.

If you wanted to do one leaf it wouldn't be that hard to put some back in the front if you didn't like it. It would probably work alright with ladder bars since your completely controlling axle wrap with them.

OK. I think I'll just pull the leaves, then if I need more, I can add em back in vs having cut them.
