Hamilton street head possible crack?

Just finished my build last night. After a 50-75 mi drive this morning breaking it in. I got back home and seen dripping from inspection cover on bell housing. I looked and seen a leak running down the side of the block. After doing a little more looking I'm pretty sure this brand new head is cracked. I see a round white spot next to the exhaust port. looking up from underneath the truck I see where coolant was running down the side of the port too. If you guys could take look at the pics and tell me what you think. Are the coolant passages really this close to the exhaust ports? I just want to get a second opinion before I give them a call. But I'm almost positive its cracked. Thanks

Not sure, but from the looks of the corrosion I'd struggle to believe that's brand new.
Regardless of how old it is, it shouldn't be cracked there if it actually is.

Wonder if the hot boost leak had anything to do with it.
If it actually is cracked.

Head stud and nut looks fishy. How long ago was that head installed?

I'll take a couple more pics of the head for you. I was zoomed in on it that's why it looks corroded. It's just surface rust. The manifold is also new. I assume you're seeing what looks like a crack in the manifold? If so that's a fiber from the manifold blanket. Head stud nut might look fishy because They have ARP lube still on them? The motor was built over the winter. I don't know what you mean by hot boost leak. The head was bought in the fall either was it has never been run. I'll get a couple more pics up.

Well, if the head is cracked and leaking I'm sure Hamilton will be there for you. Get it warm and pressure up the cooling system. See what happens. Then call them. I haven't seen anything on this forum about issues with the head. Chit does happen though. There is coolant around the exhaust ports, but I'd think it would crack into the runner before it appeared externally.
