Yes. Still in the plans to actually do some pulling sometime. I need to get with YoungDiesel27 about what class we could pull in.

The old cab-over is ready to go. 1987 K100 with an old PT400 cummins.

Gonna have to generate a few more dollars. lol

I am going to make another strong attempt at moving just about all the 'Go Fast' parts I have acquired.

If you have an interest, please get a hold of me on here. I know I would have to take a beating right now, but, an old fella told me once if you get what you wanted out of a race part during the time you owned it, $.50 on the dollar when you sell it isn't really loosing.

I have never lost the passion to develop and build the SRS VR-6. I have continued to study 3.6L gasser I have now. My first step is to convert this engine to diesel and go from there.

, yes, yes , yes!!!! I had some expert help from a man who has played lead for just about every one of the "Highway Men", Loretta Lyn, George Jones, ect...

This man gave it all up and is now installing the PMC's at compressor stations. I am proud to say his last name is Stalnaker. lol

He came out and I didn't even know what that damn Bm was but I loved it when he introduced it into my song. I will get better at hitting it. I have played C for years and still can't seem to get every string to sound right.

Thanks so much for the compliment. I really pretty much learned everything about our engine right here on CompD.

My goal is to have bodacious back out, but , with my engine. The only thing I lack at the moment are the funds to make it happen.

I have been at this very point many times in my life. I will find a way to make it happen. My passion is very strong for this engine.

Thank you sir. ...and yes, I can't even come close to imagining the hurt 'Ol Hank Williams must have been feeling when he wrote all those songs. Remember he was only 28 or so when he died.

I can tell you coming from a fella who has done some singing most of my life, never really could play the guitar that well, and have always had trouble with an audience, this song writing stuff is the hardest I have worked in years. I can't even feel the little strings under my fingers now that I have my proud calluses.

There are ways to cheat it but keep barring it and do it right. Once you master it you can slide up and down and play every chord there is. If you cheat, you don't gain.

On the transisition, try putting your fingers down one at a time starting with the pinky and working your way to the index. That's how I do it. Some just go "bam" and slam all down in the exact location. If I can get my pinky correct, then the others just fall into place.

You mentioned he played lead for the above listed artists ? Not doubting you, just curious.

Hmmm, a mystery that I can not solve. Was he a studio guitarist, or did he travel the road?

I was able to come up with this guy, David W. Stalnaker. Obituary said he opened shows for Jones. ???

Lol, his name is Steve Stalnaker. I had lost touch with the man for many years. His Dad used to have me sing when I was a kid at the Equitable Gas Company Pik Nik. (That's back when they had REAL company pik ncks).

Steve and his brother Jeff are the best I've been around. Steve went on to play for John Cash, Cash's daughter, and eventually for just about all the greats. If Rosan was doing a show, I guess her band stayed on and played for the other performers at times.

He told me stories that are absolute gold. He rode back with Merle Haggard from one of his shows in Merles Travelling dressing room. He said he had fixed up an old chevy with a slide in camper to drive to local shows.

Steve and the drummer at the time, carried George Jones off the stage when he became too drunk to stand up. Steve says he had a big vas full of red roses under each arm and refused to give them up. So, he said him and his buddy just each grabbed and arm pit and away they went.

I guess his main job was lead for Rosan and ended up playing lead at one time or another for all of them. He was with Vern Gosden for many years as well.

Damn.. I was going to guess Steve. Problem is, Stalnaker is a pretty wide spread name in the music circles. Thanks for sharing.

Good Sunday morning to all. I have co-written another song and would like four you folks to please take a listen. It's up on the Bodacious Cummins YouTube Channel.

I had a very respected fella in the music industry tell me I had something with the "Papaw Pancakes" song. He told me once I had it refined, he was pretty sure he could sell it. However, he also explained it was up to me in this age of social media to sell myself.

So, I am my worst critic so no one will ever upset me with negative criticism. Could I ask a favor of you folks to please go back and listen to all my songs. At least hit the thumbs up or thumbs down. Those of you who are holding back your comments, please let them go and let me know what you think. Once a few of you start, everyone else will feel comfortable and comment as well.

A really big thanks in advance. As I have shown with the lackluster launch of my Positive air shutoff valve, I am not a marketing person.

Arch Stalnaker
