I got a rebuilt transmission and they sent it to me with what I call fingers in the transmission not all lined up to be neutral they’re all different ways and i can’t get them to all lineup again is there something I’m missing or a trick any info is greatly appreciated

Assembly instructions in AllData are as follows. I did skip some that didn’t mention shift rails after the second image.

Have you tried moving the rails while turning the shaft?

I got them to line up I wiggles the in put shaft back and forth till I got them to line up.
Thanks for all your help all the time. Trying to figure this shot out as I go
