Remote Start Issue

I recently had an idatalink dc3 brain, idatalink ch5 t-harness with compustar remotes installed on my truck. I didn’t really use it with any frequency until it’s gotten colder. About two weeks ago I activated it whilst walking to my truck and it bumped the starter roughly three times before it finally started. Last week, I activated it from within the airport when coming back from a trip and when I got to my truck, it was running but it had obtained a CEL for po562 ecm low voltage. I tried clearing the code but it would not clear with my autocal. I tallied it up to my batteries failing and would get them checked out. I got them checked on the way home at advance and they were fine. Next morning when getting ready for work, I “remote started” my truck only to come out to my truck and my batteries were completely dead. I had a coworker pick me up and I decided I’d just buy new batteries because they were five years old and to help eliminate them as a possible issue. I got them installed that evening and then the next morning after using the remote starter it was running when I came out to it like I would hope it to be. When leaving work and walking to the truck, I activated the remote start only for it to bump the starter roughly 15 times in a row until I got in the truck and turned the key to start it which caused the security program to kill the start process. After witnessing this, it’s my belief the remote starter constantly bumping the starter is probably what killed my batteries the other day. It’s currently set to tach monitoring and not voltage monitoring and has a 15 second wait to start delay for the grid heater to do its thing. Do I need to change it to voltage monitoring or maybe the brain is bad? Any advice is much appreciated as it is nice to come out to a warm running truck lol. Thank you.
