Better tires on front or Rear ?

Wanted to have a poll on if you had a set of tires and two were 3/4 tread and 2 were 1/2 tread which ones would you put on the front verses the rear ? Truck is a 4x4 diesel without a front weight at all . i think put the 1/2 treads in the rear due to weight of the sled behind you and put the 3/4 treads on the front for possible more bite ? But same thing could be said doing the other way as well .

I always had better luck with my front digging me out imo, unless I had a bunch of weight in the bed all the time then I'd put the better ones in the rear

More tread in the front is better. I think. Kinda like my truck i have all terrains in the rear dualed with mud grapplers in the front Always want the front to help pull other wise might as well be in 2wd
