OK i have came into the problem after the problem started from another shop the other tech was using GM tech 2 trying to re-flash the ecm to the latest software version the tech 2 erased the ecm but keeps loosing communication with ecm when trying to load the new software the truck was having issues before hand it had a misfire was surging at an idle and would not make boost that's why they were trying to re-flash the ecm this is an LLY truck i have a ton of experience with common-rail cummins engine but have basically zero duramax experience any help would be apreciated thanks again d.j.
