K16 pressure control

Think I have high pressure pump going bad. Started noticing it felt laggy til it hit 2k rpm then would wake up. I installed an Air Dog and then the lagginess became really noticable. On several occasions rail pressure would drop on acceleration and throw a low pressure code, then at idle it would start rattling because pressure would be at 7000 when the computer is calling for 5100. Shut off the truck and restart it turns everything back to normal and motor quiets down.

Any experiences of this out there?

Most likely the rail pressure sensor.

Changed pressure sensor cleared codes and took it for a ride. Still has the same issues, put my snap-on verdict scanner on it and took it for another ride. I'm still it has an PCV issue; at low rpm when I start putting more of a load on the engine the PCV percentages will shoot up to 50ish% and the rail pressure will drop. If they continually stay low when I let off the throttle the RP will stick high but the PCV seems to stay within the proper range.
