Another prophecy unfolding...

Tell me where drinking is a carnal sin.

2 cor

14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.

18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

Wade, I read every verse you posted in regards to my question. Not once did it say alcohol, wine, strong drink, etc was a sin. Drunkeness was listed but not drinking.

Quit drinking the Kool-aid. Open your eyes and actually read your Bible. Maybe if it wasn't KJV, you would understand it.

This thread is exactly why I can't blindly accept religion. Y'all are all bickering over the proper way to comprehend the same book.

For phucks sake, Wade....can you have an original thought or do you have to Google everything?

Yes i do, but non listen to my thoughts. so its better to show EXACTLY out of the bible and let folks go from there.

If drinking is a sin why did Jesus turn water into wine?

Its the fact that he was able to make water wine that wasm a mirical, not a sin. A woman is not a sin, but the lusting after her is!

When do you plan to be saved? By what you yourself have typed above you have to put "away the old man and his old ways". Since you have clearly not stop lying, you have NOT put away the old man and there for are not saved. Clearly you cannot even read the Bible for yourself as it clearly allows for drinking and just about every religion of any faith type drinks. What it does not allow for is drunkenness which is completely different than having a drink of alcohol. It has never been a sin to drink alcohol.

Old testimate law has been done away with. We're not under law but under grace since Christ died for us(to those who accept him as saviour). The one verse you found. Does not explain the dozens that warn against it.

Common sence. Along with the warnings and woes...

Again, I am not judging anyone. Your actions and words speak for themselves. You come here and say one thing then turn around and do another. So I guess you must feel the same rules you want to try and tell everyone else to live by you can twist around for yourself anyway you see fit, to fit your needs at the time. You claim that alcohol is a sin yet you cannot quote anywhere from any Bible that says it. Jesus himself drank wine and the last time I looked around that is alcohol! So then you want to twist it some more to try and say your right, just what the Bible tells us NOT to do over and over again.

If this is what you call being born again then you truely are sick in the head.
