2006 Ford F250 Rear Hub Assy. Replace Help

I have a 2006 Ford f250 4x2 6.0 diesel rear end went out so I found a rearend at a salvage yard the backing plates on the salvaged one were smashed ....So I need to replace them with my existing ones....wasn't quite sure how to pull the axles and remove the hubs to switch them is there any diagrams available to let me see what i'm getting into.....I wasn't sure if this is a do-it -yourself project or is it something that must be done by a shop ....any info or links to diagrams would sure be of great help....thanks Stumpy
