Dunno. Just seemed like that’d be the right color somehow.

On a side note, anyone have a colt stage 2 or similar cam laying around they want to get rid of?

Managed to do a little work to it. Bolted the motor and trans together and stabbed it in to get an idea of where my cab will sit. Turns out I’m going to have to build some motor mounts or flip them around as the engine is to far forward. Need it about 8” back I order to get my cab and fenders in the right locations to line up with the front axle. Also wouldn’t have room for a radiator either. Also I did not leave t on saw horses it is sitting on jack stands now

Cool build!

I like the body the way it is. Looks like a real work truck.

Awesome build! I am so jealous. I want to do this kind of build so badly.

My apologies. Just found out I’ve got a baby on the way and I’m in the middle of changing jobs so things have been a little hectic lately. Hope to be back at it soon but can’t guarantee anything at the moment lol

Thanks guys!

Now back to our irregularly scheduled program. I managed to knock out a bit of work today. Got the rear end sitting on bags instead of jack stands. Hopefully get the front all bagged up tomorrow that way I can actually move it inside.

It’s officially a full rolling chassis. Cab mounts are on, front clip gets assembled tomorrow along with the narrowing of the bed.
