Hope you have deep pockets..
P pump and everything to convert over
turbo
injectors
front axle, t case, transmission the getrag will not cut it.
tration bars, bump stops, hitch, safty equipment.
tires
that should get you started.
could do it with less, but do you want to compete or particapate in the 2.6 class?

Black, I just pulled with my junk last night.
WHATEVER YOU DO, GET A 4.xx REAR! And a good torque converter or clutch.
If you keep the VE:
Valve springs
4000 RPM spring
Injectors
AFC cone, M5 or custom grind
Aftermarket lift pump*
Turbo
I/C, water or air
Traction bars
Flip rear shackles, add springs/blocks to get it high for the hitch
285-315 wide rear tires, AT or MT
*There are guys who get a 2nd Gen LP and regulate it to 15-16psi. I would take the pump off, tab the KDP, and locktite the front pump seal with the red stuff. Then run 25psi into it. If you don't, you will blow that seal with anything more the 18psi.
Also, get rid of the stock fuel filter housing. Real restrictive.
Rear lockers are needed.
Read my post here in a couple of minutes from my experience....

I would ditch the VE pump completly and do a p-7100 conversion. Alot more power can be had from a p-pump. A set of 5x.018 injectors from Smokem, Harts, Scheid, or Columbus diesel should work nicely. You will also want to go with an NV4500 5spd and a 4.63-5.13 gear. As for the turbo, anything is better than stock, but in the 2.6 class about a 65-66mm is the limit. Some 66mm's will not pass a 2.6 class. Also on the turbo I would not get an exhaust housing bigger than a 16cm. I would even try a 14cm housing first. IF you really wanna spend the money, you could always go with a big custom turbo from schied or Engineered diesel which would be probably a 2.8 or 3.0 charger with a custom front compressor cover to pass a 2.6 class. Also don't forget the added insurance things such as getting the head o-ringed, head studs, dual disk clutch, valve springs, 35 spline or larger axles, full billet spool. Or if your rules will allow it, just go with a 2 ton rearend such as a Rockwell F106, Traction bars, hitch, suspension blocks, ect......... YEAH, PULLING ISN"T CHEAP BY NO MEANS TO BE COMPETITVE!!!!

If your planning on pulling 2wd your going to need a d80 or equivalent with upgraded axles and spool to take the stress. Thats still a ticking time bomb though ask Lynn.
