2.5 turbo

I’m sure this has been best to death all ready but seems like these 2.5 trucks are really getting up there in Hp numbers. Who’s the go to for a competitive 2.5 charger?

JEB, Apex, Stainless, Stamm. The list goes on.

Is 2.5 still going in your area? 2.6 sb is starting to come around and take ahold. Just hate to see yourself limit your hooks.

It’s still going as of now. They just changed a couple rules but for this season it’s still a go. Hopefully next season will be too as I am just starting on this journey. I’m under United Truck and tractor rules

What is everybody running for lockers/spools in the front and rear? Planning on a 4.56 gear with 35” tires. But I can’t run any steering assist so I’ll need to be able to turn to get onto the track and hooked to the sled

What truck are you running? If not on street, just weld the resr solid.. I welded my front solid to but have manual hives and can steer fine wth them unlocked. I just have a guy lock them in when they drop the chain before I out tension on it.

There's been quite a few 2.5 chargers for sale in Wisconsin, as they went away from 2.5 to 2.6 smoothbore. Most shouldn't have very many hooks on them.
