I posted a thread in the turbo section with only one reply so far but no input given. The CW is proven to work very well with this combo when the correct mods are made to the turbine housing, has great street manners, and spools quick. The VGT works good with all the 6.7's and has the bonus of the exhaust brake, quicker spool, and when used with the Banshee II controller you get control over the boost, control of the drive pressure, and control over the exhaust brake, all of which would make it great for tuning the twins. The HTB2 is basically bullet proof, waste gated within the turbine housing, will make more over all HP, but will have slightly more lag out of the hole.,I have the money, help me spend it with solid info.

I haven't heard of anyone running a 480 with a 351. Normally I picture atleast at 62 up top. Do you have injectors or DVs yet?

Will Terry (Big Blue24) has the 351CW and S480 in his daily driver, http://www.competitiondiesel.com/for...d.php?t=178607
Or maybe you meant you don't know any body personally.
I have some DDP 4's and some extrude honed 235hp RV's (47 lpm) I was going to try before I made the final purchase on the injectors.
I have still been researching the the DV's, I have 181's in the pump now but not sure which ones I'd like to purchase.
Also, I spoke with Steed Dolan about his Banshee II controller and he says it will work fine in this application.
I have the VGT and a CW, The controller is only 750.00, so I might just have to be the Comp D guinea pig.
The only thing that sucks if it doesn't work as planned would be building a new Hot pipe.

Top radiator hose I found at Napa, fit real nice. Napa number 9278. How about some pictures of what you guys have done for the lower radiator hose using the diesel radiator?

Got a new 6G 200 amp alternator (upgrade from the 3G) from Quick Start Automotive Electric for the original Powerstroke and mounts from Diesel Conversion Specialists. Finished the stainless coolant lines, got the close 90* 1 1/2 304 stainless elbows (Vibrant) from Summit Racing.

Pics of the wiring for the neutral safety switch and reverse lights (model year 97'). For those who are interested and also who are using the factory wiring harness. I also checked if the factory harness would work with the NP 271 for the range selector, and it works great. All the dash lights are correct (4 HI, 4LOW). Feels good to have everything work like factory.

I've searched with no luck. Has anybody wired the signal wire for the glow plug relay from factory harness to the dodge grid heater relays to excite the solenoids?
I know it uses oil temperature, barometric pressure, and I "think" amps from pcm for the amount of time it cycles.
If I could just use it instead of a momentary switch that would be great!

A friend of mine put a Cummins in an idi truck and we used the Ford glow plug controller to run the grid. It bolts right to the valve cover bolts like it was designed for it too.

Anyone ever see a OBS front shackle conversion that uses a setup more like a 99-05 where the shackle is mounted to a trunion in the frame, therefore resulting in little or no lift?

I have not, I'm sure with some math you could get it to work great. Might have to look into it for my next swap.

Nice build man. Personally, I think the HE351ve could work well with your S480 as long as an external waste-gate is added into the mix to keep drive pressure at reasonable levels. Just my two cents.

New Radiator
The factory radiator was due, time for some bling under the hood.

Thanks! It's been a long time coming. I have the Banshee II controller, both turbos, and some of the piping. I'll get through this Lion season and start that project in the spring.

I think it would be pretty simple. Weld a couple ears to the front of the frame to keep the front spring eye in the same spot. Go to the back, locate where you want the trunion in the frame, cut the hole for it, drill holes, bolt it in, install shackle. Though it's been a while since I crawled under my truck and looked around.
