EV2 fuel pressure sensor

I got a Isspro EV2 0-40 psi electronic fuel pressure gauge in my truck and it worked for a few months but it hasn't for about the last month. It would bounce around a lot when it worked since I didn't have a snubber, and now it just sits at like 2 psi at idle and it sits at 0 when driving. I heard that since I didn't have a snubber that it probably killed the sensor. Does this sound right? so I need a price on a new pressure sensor and this time I'll be running it with a snubber.

Yes, you do need a snubber with a mechanical lift pump. Most people are using a needle valve (either ISSPRO P/N R7742 or Weatherhead P/N 6820, which is usually available at NAPA stores). Tighten the valve all the way then open it just a crack. Sending you a PM on the sensor.
