limping motor ?

Hey guys, hooked three times yesterday. Manually shifting 1st thru 3rd at 4000rpm (rev limiter set at 4400). First two pulls ran great thru 3rd then dropped from 4200 to 2700+/_ rpm. Thought tcm was overiding into 4th so 3rd time out left in second, same thing happened. Now realize the motor is severly defueling. No codes thrown at the time, but have popped p0234 (overboost ?) a couple of times on the street. What can i do, last pull this year is in two weeks. Hoping for a simple fix, any help would be appreciated. If i can keep it running right past the 200' mark, think i can be pretty competive. :bang


p.s. before everyone suggests efi live its planned in the future but not in the budget right now.:thankyou2:

had same problem. i was going over my tourq limit so the motor was defueling to reach the tourq limit. noot sure how to change the limit with out efi live. and the same with the overboost you have to up your boost limit
