Buddie picked this up for a good deal today and was wanting to find out any info he could gather from the I'd tag.

That's what I told him to do, I think he is going to tomorrow.

I think he was just wanting to know mainly the history of this model, what is was mainly used on, map ect...

I'm far from good or even knowledgeable with turbos so I figured maybe a turbo guru would be able to point out more details on it

He is putting it on a non-turbo military multifuel Duce truck & is Gona order a rebuild kit for it, just in case.

That is a BW cat replacement turbo, I think that the 1.6? Exhaust housing will cause spooling troubles on anything smaller than a 3406 cat, and there aren't nearly the selection of housings for that series that there are the S400s.
