Wow I accidentally wondered in here following some links-This is awesome.
Years ago we had quite a few very devout Christian kids join in a local four wheel drive club I'm a member of. Somehow they had been given info that we were a club they could become part of. It was not long I noticed at some events they kept pretty much to them selves, seemingly being intimated by some of old wheelers, yes there are some among us myself included that can be quite 'ruff'. Were about our jeeps and what it takes to be out there & back.
I wanted to find a way to let these kids know by more than words its ok and great to be a servant to the Lord, Christ loves us old geezers too and 4-wheeling isn't contrary to being Christian.
I stumbled upon a group, 4 Wheelers-4 Christ, and joined. I got one of their decals, made a lil plaque, attached the decal & hung it right in the middel of my rear luggage rack. I cant tell you what an impact it made on those kids to see that on my rig. Ive driven & trailerd that jeep for quite a few years-the kids are long gone but the decals still on it. It still works.
There are a lot of 4-wheeling Christian org & clubs C4x4.com , Welcome to the United Christian Off Road Alliance - UCORA.org just a couple. Never occurred to me folks might do the same with there trucks.
I guess the whole point is something as simple as a decal can spread the Word-I was just amazed to find it again on of all places a diesel forum...
