6.7 fleet truck

So my work truck is an '11 6.7 with only 38k miles on it, and this morning I noticed a blue puff of smoke when I took off from a dead stop. Any reason for this clean burning machine to be doing this? Btw, this truck is a pipeline crew truck that gets rode hard and put up wet.

DPF's where never considered 100% effective but when a visable smoke is viewed.. im sure there is a problem abrewin...

My'11 Chevy on a hard regen would blow some smoke, bluish/gray. Maybe every 4 months or so... After the regen it was back to normal.
But yours is probably coked turbo bearings if they run it hard and shut it off without cool down.

See this once in a while on our '12 work trucks... especially on our Chevys during regen
