95 f350 starter issue

I have a 4 speed overdrive truck wondering if anybody has the same issues keeps burning up starters I get them from ford or napa changed wiring to the batteries checked all connection cant understand whats going on

Some of the cheaper replacements. Burn up alot quicker then others.. I've had good luck with a car quest starter. Or the other option for roughly $400 is a severe duty after market option.. never tried it though. Also make sure you have good batteries, weak ones will put more of a strain on all the electronics.

I buy the cheap ones. Part Number. 17802N-6 I get them for around 120.00 shipped. I have only bought one and still use it 5 or more years latter. Never gave me a bit of trouble and has had lots of winter starts under it Belts (errrr winding's).. These are geared starters and are around 5.36HP They crank the engine nice and FAST.
