Adding a remote to a 706

Anyone know of a way to add a function to my remote? b I only have one remote and I need 2.

I have seen the multipliers that plug in and use solenoids to control another function.

Is their any other ways I can do this.

Those multipliers seem really expensive for what they are.

Any ideas.
