I apologize about no updates here recently, been hectic with getting settled at the new job and taking care of some debt. But as of now we should be seeing a complete truck by winter so stay tuned!

Also I've been looking in to a electric water pump setup, anyone have any recommendations, life expectancy of one, and any known problems or issues? All the ones I've found appear to be pretty much the same except for pricing and the brand/sticker that's on it. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I went thru 2 of the ones jegs sells, I switched to the one summit sells as their brand, I think it's a better pump.

Good to hear, will definetly look in to it. What happened to fail on the jegs brand?

Finally got the wheels and tires on it. Went with a M/T 29.5/10.5 slick instead of a radial. Just dropped it off last weekend to get some tube work done! More to come

I have one here I got with the Red Line engine I bought. I will probably never use it. I bought one of the remote mounts out of Summit as our radiator was in the bed. I'll take half of new retail for the one off the Red Line engine + shipping. Let me figure out what brand it is and get you a pic up.

I like electric water pumps because they are pretty much constant RPM. ...which I think is the main reason folks are blowing out freeze plugs. The extra rpm's overpressure the system.

The seals would leak and get in the electric motor. If you had the jegs and summit store brand in your hand youd agree.

Heres a couple better pictures of the wheels. The wheels are from bogart racing wheels and are 15x10s 8x6.5 . Wanted the more options for tires that are available for 15s so they whipped these up for me. They are light and with the billet center section they can still be put on the street with no worries if i wanted too. Definetly one of my favorite pieces on this truck. If there was a build thread hall of fame I would surely vote for this to be inducted. Nicely done Sir.

Do it eric!

How you been bud?!?!

OP, I love following your progress on IG and here. Your truck looks so awesome! If it performs even half as good as it looks, it'll be a runner for sure!

Doing good Mitch, what about yourself and Amanda? Haven't seen y'all (or most anyone from the local diesel community) in forever. Didn't even go to a single truck pull this year. I did take the 94 to the drag strip about three months ago though. Did you sell your Duramax?

Love these wheels and truck man, but what am I missing with being able to run a 15 on these trucks? They clear the caliper's/drums or does the offset push them out so theirs no interference?

Offset is the biggest reason. We still had to message the calipers a little. In the future I would like to build a bracket to except an aftermarket caliper/rotor so we can run less offset and more backspacing. I'm having a hard time justifying the cost per gain for the factory knuckle/tie rod bar will only allow you to go inward another 1-1.5"
