5.9 Oil cooler on a 6.7 block
Can the oil cooler, filter housing and subsequent gaskets be installed on a 6.7 engine block?
The photo is the gasket part numbers I found in quickserve. The gaskets I have on hand are from a 6.7 structure kit, the cooler and base are from an 03 5.9
I know there was a thread on low oil pressure not long ago, but I'm not sure what the thread title was.

I wondered the same thing when I assembled my engine. They look identical but I used the 6.7l cooler and 5.9 filter housing on my 6.7 block and have no issues. I heard the filter housing side was interchangeable but block side was not. I wish I'd actually looked at them side by side.

Biggy, I think I have the 5.9 gaskets at work but I'm off today. I'll look tomorrow and try to post a pic so you can compare if any passages are different.
