Mystery Turbocharger

Trying to find info on this turbo. Searching all these numbers has netted no results. All I know is that it came of a large (very very large) Cummins engine, but I don't have the type. Manufacturer is Garrett...
Any info anyone could provide would be a big help.

Don't have that information. Was hoping to get that with the model and part numbers... But no luck.

T18’s are old school and pretty wimpy compared to comparable holsets Old school pro stock and super stock turbos abandoned long ago. One of the baddest alcohol tractors of the 90’s switched from those to holsets and was no longer able to run the 7k class due to more power and being unable to put enough weight on the front end.

So even though it spins free with no shaft play... It's junk, huh ?... Sounds about right, since it says "industrial" on it.

All I'm finding is that it's off a Cummins KT-19-M with a 18.8L displacement... But no specs.

I found indications that it's on a Military application from around 1977.

Mark.

Any interest/value to these KT-19-M engines mark ? Got 4 of them out here in the boneyard that were perfect runners when they were replaced due to maintenance schedules.

I'm interested in a price.

I wouldn't say the turbo is junk, just don't expect much out of it. I'm not sure on sizes, but there's a couple thread on here discussing them that say a 80mm S400 will keep up with it from what I gather.

I'd start at $1000 apiece as complete cores, due to their age, if they don't sell, then drop their value from there.

Mark.
