TCI shifter to 47re

Hi, Anyone running an outlaw shifter with a standard vb, I've clearanced the ATS pan and ground the bracket to fit, tweaked the bracket so the cable runs straight but I'm having a hard time getting all gear detents to hit right, seems I can adj so 1-3 is right on but rev and park are off and missing the detents. Anyone else have this prob or any idea's I've tried both offset cable ends on the shifter end , haven't tried modding the stock trans arm yet. Figured maybe someone here's run in to this,,

Did the shifter not come with a new arm for the trans?

yes it did come with the right arm, it's shorter making the cable hit the front of the trans. I've got it close now, still might try modding the stock one. Just was wondering if anyone might have run in to the same prob,,thanks

I have had to cut and weld the stock arm to work before.

That's what I was just about to do till I noticed I needed to do some more grinding, seems the ATS pan has so much extra webbing it was causing prob so a lil grinding and a couple tweak's on the bracket now its shifts like butter, thanks for the replies I app it ..
