Mystery part/tool - transmission

I'm doing a rebuild for a guy and he brought his 1st gen overdrive tranny to me in a couple boxes. He took it to the local shop and then brought it to me. I'm thinking they may have left a tool in the box wth the parts. This will be my 12th build and I've never seen one of these before

It's splined all the way through, has a circlip in the middle. The splines match the shafts in the tranny.

It's the splined coupler for between an NP205 and a 518 4WD.
Nice score, those routinely sell for over $150 these days.

Mark.

It belongs to the owner of the trans lol. All I got was a basket case of a transmission dropped off. I organized all the parts, checked missing pieces etc. I ended up short 3 pump/gear cover bolts and the coupler.

Now I know - thanks guys
