In the red truck it basically eliminated bump steer. Ours is on a switch, you set it once and basically forget about it.

Well the guy's here are on a switch too but regulators creep. I have them in my dash to control lift axles and whenever you put the axles up or down the pressures change. I just don't see the need for one when it could be much simpler.

If you try and hold on to it the truck darts all over the road.
You can plumb it however you want but what's wrong with just using a leveling valve so you don't have to adjust the pressure? Friend insisted on using a regulator and he's always messing with it. It's either riding too high or too low.

The loadshare system came with the regulator. It seams to work pretty well once i figured out how much air i like in them. I was going to use a leveling valve on it until this came with the regulator.

The one truck here will be going down the road like a 1990's Lincoln Town car with blown rear bags and headlights pointing at the sky. Then he will bleed some off and it will be banging the bump stops with the bumper 2" off the road. I'll never understand his love for it.

Our setup doesn't have a regulator. I've got a two way momentary switch. More air, less air.

If i have that many problems out of mine i will end up doing away with the regulator and add a leveling valve.

Since you can look at a horse kit you can correct me but I thought they still run double spring leafs from the axle to the front spring hanger?

No. Single leaf on our truck.

Sorry for the double pictures. These were the door handles that were falling apart.I just pulled the black plastic off, cleaned them and added a wood handle.
Here is how it sits as of right now. Not perfect but I like it.
ill post some more pictures when I get the rest of it all put together. Been chasing a wire gremlin here lately. I was driving it home and it just died. Every time you would turn the ignition on it would pop the breaker. I wiggled the wires around the starter solenoid and finally got it home. Bent all the prongs coming off the solenoid up a tad to where they weren't close to possibly grounding out. Hoping that was it because I cant find any bare wire or make it do it again and its been driving me nuts. Any ideas?

thank ya sir, I polished the stacks and worn out bumper last weekend and decided that was enough for right then. I have a friend who lives in town that said he would sand them and polish them for 50 a wheel. Pretty sure im going to go that route.
