What does this kit do?

Honestly...I can't even tell it's in there.
The only firmer shifts I've ever felt was when I tuned the Xcal for them.

My trans was bad when all that stuff went in...so I don't really know how it would feel now if it wasn't in there.
 
With the shift kit and the proper tuning that is what makes the trans live a long time under alot of abuse and that is why John Wood uses them.
 
Adding the shift kit augments the SCT. You can command stuff electronically, but it helps to have a mechanical advantage.

Dom the complete trans and TC I got from Suncoast shifts alot better straight out of the box Firmer, Quicker, just plain better I maintained a burnout into 4th gear the other day I let off so I wouldn't hit the car in front of me at the stop light LOL So Id say its a good kit:rockwoot:
 
i have the suncoast extreme upgrade, and i love it so far. i will soon find out how it will hold up to some big HP
