best chip for 08 gmc

buddy just bought an 08 gmc. pretty nice truck i guess...fer a gm...anyways he wants a chip. no tuner cuz of the warranty thing.

whats avail for these trucks..seein as im a dodge man i couldnt tell em but figured yall would know the best one.

so whats avail ina plug and play for this truck. its an 08 4x4 is bout all i can tell ya. he even takes the truck to the dealer for an oil change

there hasn't been a such thing as a chip for a while for the newer trucks.

programmers & modules.
 
chip... module... tuner... programmer....yall know what im talking about.



an add on plug n play box. drag comp or ez or quadzilla type units...untraceable stuff

no tuner programmer whatever ya call em
 
it is all tracable.
all they have to do is read the max paramaters then compare to what they should have been.

just tell him to program it and if it blows drop a new motor in :rockwoot:
although i doubt he will have any problems with it. $.02

he wants no part of a programmer...i already tried that. hes afraid after droppin 60 grand on a new truck
 
i'm suprised he wants to "chip" it.
i love my 08 dmax.
even when i had my 200hp tune on my cummins, i must say, the dmax would hang with me.
if i wasn't upside down on my dodge, i would sell it and just keep the dmax & 6.0 but guess i'll keep all three.
