Will a reg.cab long bed 3:54 gears 5-speed 12v dodge compete with the ext.cab long beds?
 
Yes it will compete. Chad Vaught, Luke Thomas, both have those and I believe Luke got second at IRP.
 
Chassis set up will be key to elminate hop, long wheelbase tend to bounce less, but with the reg cab you can hang more weight out front.
 
Theyre not really any different than extended cab short beds so i dont think you have anything to worry about. Brad Ingrams runs decent:hehe: Ive seen several reg cabs do good on the track. Its all about set up.
 
longer is allways better, you can't compare one truck to the next. but if you had the exact same build up on a reg cab and a ext. cab the longer truck would allways win
