I need a truck
I need to replace the master cylinder and brake booster on my girls 05 silverado, its only the 5.3 engine and i know how to do most of it, but do i need to dis-engage the airbag and also what is the best way to relieve the brake fluid pressure? Also, is there anything else i need to know that could help, thanks.

There is no need to disconnect the air bags or to worry about relieving brake fluid pressure. Is it vacuum or hydro boost? Either way all you do is undo the pushrod on the brake pedal and the unbolt the 4 nuts on the inside that hold the booster on. The master cylinder is only held on to the booster with two nuts. Pretty straight forward job.

Awesome, its a hydro boost, thanks for the help i figured it should be an easy job i just didnt want some stupid nut or bolt hitting be at mach 2

ok with hydro boost you just have to disconnect the power steering lines to it. Just do not try to take apart the hydro boost assembly itself. It does have a spring loaded accumulator that will hit you faster than mach 2.:hehe:
