RWYB with USA-EAST

the 2013 season will start a new era for the popular RWYB 4x4 class. this will now become a 'king of the hill' type class. here is an excerpt from the rule book explaining the class criteria.

• Naturally aspirated gas or alcohol (with cast iron block & stock spacing): 7500 pounds and 28” hitch height

• Naturally Aspirated GAS with Nitrous Oxide System: 7200 pounds and 26” hitch height (Bore spacing alterations permitted)

• Naturally Aspirated GAS with Nitrous Oxide System running cast iron block: 7500 pounds and 26” hitch height

• 3.0 Diesel and Pro Stock Diesel: 7500 pounds and 26” hitch height

• Super Stock Diesel: 7500 pounds and 24” hitch height

• Super Charged gas or alcohol (under 500 cu.in): 7000 pounds and 26” hitch height

• Super Charged gas or alcohol (over 500 cu.in.) 7000 pounds and 24” hitch height

What's the tentative 3.0 diesel schedule? We will be on Vaca 6-1 thru 6-7. Hopefully this will not be an issue. If it is, I will have to send the truck with a friend..lol

still some 'loose ends' on Pro Stock Diesel schedule for this season. looks like the first hook will be June 22 at Geauga County Fairgrounds. we are looking at 10-12 point hooks in 2013. keep in mind that Pro Stock Diesels are welcome to enter the RWYB if they are looking for some early hooks.

don't plan anything for Saturday, July 13 - PS Diesels pull at Cortland, OH at 1:30pm and then again at 8:00pm at the Bunker Hill Shoot-Out. BIG day for the class!!

Don't know what Ryan Banic is doing with the former Zedreck green truck.

We will all find out at Mercer Raceway on May 26. Going to be a very interesting evening of pulling for the RWYB class.
